It’s suchhhh a nice day. It’s my sort of weird luck that on nice days like today, I don’t have any reason to go outside/have anyone to hang out with. Boo. :(
But yeah. The power went out today for a couple hours, and like, it’s sad but what are you supposed to do without your power? I just chilled with my kitty and read. It would have been nice if I had had a new book to read. All the books I’ve had have been read countless times. It’s kind of sad when you realize your power just came back on because you hear the many whirr’s and clicks of various TV’s and computers around the house starting up again.
Yum. Pieeee. I really love this pie. My mom and I finished off an entire strawberry pie in two days. We get it every year — strawberry season is only until June, or something. So yeah. It’s great though, refreshing.
I really want to go swimming. Or maybe not even swimming, I just want to chill next to a pool or something. With a magazine. Mmm. Like a tropical paradise. When I was younger I didn’t get the huge appeal of tropical places as a place to go for a honeymoon — I always imagined that my honeymoon would be in Rome, Amsterdam, Venice or something like that. But honestly, a tropical paradise just sounds really inviting right now, especially with my loved one.
Anyway, yesterday was fun, first time my boyfriend and I went out in a while. These days it’s hard for us to muster up the energy (and the money, and time, I guess) to go out somewhere. We went to the Lloyd Center, which we used to go to like every weekend but now, it’s kind of lost it’s charm — and then we went back to Cedar Hills and watched Angels & Demons. The movie was good, I guess (boyfriend liked it lots) but honestly, they cut out the best parts in the book. So it was just kind of wtfuckery but whatever.
Then we played DDR, which is mad fun, since I like to scam on my hot boyfriend while dances his little heart out (no, really, it’s kind of scary how good he is at DDR). Kind of lame, since I’m not as good as him :[ Yes, there is a difference between Difficult x1 and Difficult x2, as there is a difference between getting a B and getting an E.
;_;
But yeah, that was a lot of fun. We agreed that we should go see movies more often, since we never really did take up on the usual movie date night thing. I can count on one hand how many movies in theaters I’ve seen with him — our first date, Jumper, back when we had sweaty hands and neck cramping, then 21, with Gilbert and Josh. Prom Night, which was boring and when we were still in the all-over-eachother stage. And then now, Angels & Demons, which we enjoyed more or less normally, me whispering stuff like “In the book, so-and-so happened” and playing DDR afterwards.
Yeah. Goooooood times.
Also, I’m wondering if anybody else even blogs anymore. Humph.
